This filter fits all Whirlpool and KitchenAid water filtration system side by side refrigerators that have the filter located below the freezer compartment door in the base of the grill. Tested and certified by NSF International in models WF-NLC240V and WF-LC400V against NSF/ANSI Standard 42 for the reduction of Chlorine taste and odor and particulate Class II and against Standard 53 for the reduction of Lead, Mercury, Benzene, p-Dichlorobenzene, Toxaphene Plus 2,4D, Asbestos, Cysts, Turbidity and Atrazine.

The 4396508 and 4396510 are interchangeable. The 4396510 is an upgrade filtering the above PLUS 2,4-D, Asbestos, Cysts, Turbidity and Atrazine.
